At one time neighbor, when our trailers crossed paths, we created the deeper imaginative proofs that lay within the confines of the carnival. Why? Well, to convince all our bar buddies that ourselves, the whiskeys we pound, and even our Airstream trailers were real solid particles and waves swirling without recognition of their creator…which was thought. Together, we made our carnie brethren, everyone at the RV Park, and even the waitress at the Waffle House believe they were Chrysler Hemi’s, dripping with the maple syrup of bio-chemical evolution.
Boy was it an effective way to turn significance into insignificance. For if everyone believed they were accidents, it obscured the existence of Will. This how we got away with eating all the hashbrowns off of others plates, and drinking other people’s beer without given’ a single thanks.
Damn, sure glad we got out of that town.
